"Duncroft Masterworks creates unique metal artifacts geared towards those who still have the indomitable will of the warrior raging within. The best instincts of man still thrive in a vanishingly small few. If you are among them, you know what it means to live without apology, do your duty, face your fears, make the hard choices, and push yourself forward when quitting would be easy. We are proud to craft goods that a real man can wear with pride."
MAKE YOUR MARK
A Raging Thunder
The Vikings were a strong, proud, and hard people living in the most unforgiving place on Earth. Their way of life was marked with howling winds and bloody, brutal struggle. They conjured warrior gods who were worthy of their worship and strong enough to hear their prayers. The Vikings would fearlessly fight to the death, knowing that when slain they would be among their heroes and gods in the mead halls of Valhalla.
Thor was one such god, a mighty titan in the pantheon of ancient Norse gods. Wielding his hammer, he ruled the sky from the kingdom of Asgard, raining down raging thunder and blinding lightning upon awestruck mortals. With his mystical hammer, the Mjolnir, (mee-yol-neer) Thor:
"... would be able to strike as firmly as he wanted, whatever his aim, and the hammer would never fail, and if he threw it at something, it would never miss and never fly so far from his hand that it would not find its way back, and when he wanted, it would be so small that it could be carried inside his tunic." - The Prose Edda
Reflecting the Viking ways, their gods could kill and be killed. Despite his power, Thor's destiny is to die grappling with a great serpent during the great future battle of Ragnarok. Thor will slay the serpent but he will be bitten and take nine steps before the venom takes hold and ends his godhood. It is foretold that Ragnarok will cause the death of many gods. During this battle the stars will fall, the sky will blacken and burn, and the whole earth will flood.
Earth will be re-born from the carnage of Ragnarok, heralded by the arrival of a son of Thor who will be carrying Thor's Hammer.
The Vikings have done much to forge our modern world, and traces of their greatness remain in the Thor's Hammer pendants found throughout over Scandanavia and Germania. Men would wear them to honor, and perhaps be favored by Thor when the battlecries sounded. To this day men, knowing or not, honor Thor with the day Thursday, or Thor's Day.

Our large, detailed pendant is inspired by the historical Thor's Hammer designs and we've added our own original style. The thunderous ram's horns protude from a skull of a man not of the mortal realm. On the head of the hammer, bold Viking runes spell 'MIGHT', in honor of the mighty Thor. The pendant is cast in lead-free pewter and is strung with an 18-inch black leather cord (2-mm thick). The lobster-style clasp is the easiest one to use that we could find; we wear what we make.

Duncroft Masterworks stands behind what we make and will do whatever it takes to make things right if any problems arise.

Made in the USA and Canada.
